We don't treat students like widgets on a 19th century grade level assembly line
- No grade levels... Because they are a grossly inadequate fiction
- We don't fail kids... Because they aren't the failures, the education system is
- We don't teach the 3 R's... As 'riting & 'rithmatic are spelled wrong
- We don't teach to forget... Because it is a waste to learn useless facts
- We aren't luddites... Because the technology is here, and we must use it wisely
Instead we support student learning through 21st century ideas
- Containerized learning... We break learning down to self-contained modules that are relevant to where the student is and where they want to go
- Mastery learning... So that learners can always find a path to success, and do not continue until they adequately do
- Students develop competencies... All learning is about improving our knowledge and skills for the contexts we live in
- Project-based... Because actions speak louder than words
- We embrace AI... But we don't outsource our thinking to it
Our Programs
SchoolONE and EducateONE more broadly has multiple programs that may seem divergent from each other, yet all are working to build a holistic system to improve the world.
- Bright Futures for Rohingya Refugees—Supporting those in most need with the services that will keep them alive along with the education that will allow them to thrive.
- AI Developer Diploma Alpha Cohort—An invitation-only program for students to earn a California High School Diploma focused on AI Development.
- Actually Useful AI Training—Short professional development sessions to make AI actually useful.
- Master Educator—A post-graduate level program for our volunteer educators to earn Master Educator, NBPTS, and CHEP certifications.
- Homeless Prevention Short-Term Microloans—Instead of putting most of our money in a bank, we use it to keep people from being homeless and from being preyed upon by "payday lenders".
- Learning Gap Private Tutoring—Master Educators providing low-cost or free private tutoring for at-risk American kids.
- Digitools Diploma for Developing Economies—Quality Technical Secondary Education and Software for less than the the cost of Netflix(tm) (Coming Soon!)
